Personalized advertising

CARTA MARKETING FIRM Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Company") handles all the Customer's Information for advertising appropriately according to this Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Policy"). In demand-side platform services provided by CARTA MARKETING FIRM Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), Company displays advertisements that are presumed to be more relevant to Customer based on Customer’s information. "Customer's Information" in this Policy means information relating to an individual that can be used for advertising and cannot be able to identify a specific individual.

Ⅰ.For Websites

1.Collection of Information for advertising

For the purpose of displaying advertisements that are presumed to be more relevant to customers, the Company acquires the following Customer’s Information using cookies, etc through the Company or its partner companies.

  • IP address
  • Type and version of the browser with which Customer browse the Websites
  • URL of pages of the various websites visited
  • Time
  • Ad ID
  • Ad URL

2. Utilization of Information for advertising

(1) Company will properly manage the Customer’s Information obtained in the preceding paragraph. The Customer's information does not identify the individual customer. In addition, Company does not use Customer Information to identify individuals and does not collect information that identifies Customer’s individual (name, address, phone number, etc.)

(2) The Company may provide part of the Customer’s Information obtained in the preceding paragraph to advertisement distributors in order to deliver personalized advertisements. Currently, there is no advertisement distributors that corresponds to the provision destination.

3. Distribution of behavioral personalized advertisements

If Customer do not wish to receive behavioral personalized advertisements (for web apps, this refers to advertisements that use Customer’s Information accumulated based on the cookie.) Customer may opt-out. By making this setting, advertisement distribution using the Customer's Information will not be performed. Here's how to opt-out:

Customer may use opt-out cookies from the opt-out request button. Behavioral personalized advertisements will not be delivered to web browsers that store opt-out cookie.
If Customer use a web browser different from the browser Customer opt-out from, purchase a new computer terminal, reinstall the OS or delete the opt-out cookie, please take these opt-out step again.

Opt-out does not stop Customer from seeing ads.
The opt-out setting disables behavioral personalized advertisements, and the advertisements themselves continue to be displayed.

Also, if Customer are using a device with iOS 11 or higher, the opt-out cookie may be deleted depending on the settings. In that case, Customer will need to apply for opt-out again.

The display method is left to the partner companies provides the websites within the scope of complying with our company's terms of use, but if the display method on the page is inappropriate, please let us know from here.

Ⅱ.For Mobile applications

1.Collection of Information for advertising

For the purpose of displaying advertisements that are presumed to be more relevant to customers, the Company acquires the following Customer’s Information using IDFA, GAID, etc through the Company or its partner companies.

  • The mobile phone’s identifier for advertisers (IDFA for IOS devices and GAID for Android)
  • The mobile phone’s identifier for Vendor (IDFV for IOS devices)
  • The information of the user settings about delivering targeted advertisements
  • The model of mobile phone
  • User settings of the language
  • User-Agent
  • IP address
  • Mobile Country Code (MCC)
  • Mobile Network Code (MNC)
  • The type of network
  • The version of application
  • The model and version of mobile phone as well as its operating system (IOS, Android, etc.)
  • Time
  • Ad ID
  • Ad URL

2. Utilization of Information for advertising

(1) Company will properly manage the Customer’s Information obtained in the preceding paragraph. The Customer's information does not identify the individual customer. In addition, Company does not use Customer Information to identify individuals and does not collect information that identifies Customer’s individual (name, address, phone number, etc.)

(2) The Company may provide part of the Customer’s Information obtained in the preceding paragraph to advertisement distributors in order to deliver behavioral personalized advertisements and to measure advertising effectiveness. (3) The Company shall handle mobile advertising identifiers in accordance with the terms of use, etc stipulated by Apple Inc. and Google Inc., respectively, and shall not use them for purposes other than those permitted by the terms of use.

If Customer do not wish to receive behavioral personalized advertisements (for mobile terminal applications, this refers to advertisements that use Customer’s Information accumulated based on the customer's advertising identifier.) Customer may opt-out. By making this setting, advertisement distribution using Customer's Information will not be performed.

For Android
For iOS
